Academic Self Efficacy, Social Anxiety and Academic Success in University Students

Academic self-efficacy is an important determinant of academic success which could be affected by many factors both psychological and social. The present research was conducted to highlight the role social anxiety affect performance students. study aimed assess relationship between self-efficacy, with hypothesis that positively inversely related predicted success. Researchers choose topic a cross-sectional design. Through survey method, convenient sample 250 undergraduate students in age range 18 24 (M=21.35, SD=1.54) obtained. Educational Self-Efficacy Scale for Social Interaction Anxiety scale measuring CGPA success, along demographic sheet were used collect data. Pearson product-moment correlation results indicated has statistically significant positive association (r=.367, n=250, p=.05) inverse anxiety(r=-.463, p=.01). Likewise, shares significant, (r=-.389, n= 250, p=.05). Moreover, (β= .472, p< .001) -.431, .001). For improving performance, focus students, educators, counsellors parents must on managing issues like as per implications research.
